That many women wear the wrong bra size is a known fact! Most have never taken their measurements themselves or have been measured by an expert in a lingerie store. Wearing the right bra size is very important. Not only is it better for your breasts, it will also make your figure look nicer!
Follow these simple steps to calculate your European bra size in centimeters (for US-size in inches see below):
Please wear a good fitting, non-padded bra when taking your measuments!
STEP 1: Take your under bust measurement holding a measuring tape firmly around your body, just below the breasts.
- 68-72 = 70
- 73-77 = 75
- 78-82 = 80
- 83-87 = 85
- 88-92 = 90
- 93-97 = 95
- etc.
STEP 2: Take your over bust measument holding a measuring tape loosly around the fullest part of your breasts.
STEP 3: Subtract your under bust measurement of your over bust measurement. The difference determines your cup size.
- 10-12 = AA
- 12-14 = A
- 14-16 = B
- 16-18 = C
- 18-20 = D
- 20-22 = E
- 22-24 = F
- etc.
EXAMPLE:
- under bust = 84 cm -> 85
- over bust = 99 cm
- 99 minus 84 = 15 cm -> B
- EU bra size = 85 B

Follow these simple steps to calculate your US bra size in inches:
Please wear a good fitting, non-padded bra when taking your measuments!
STEP 1: Take your under bust measurement holding a measuring tape firmly around your body, just below the breasts.
This measurement + 5 inches = your band size
STEP 2: Take your over bust measument holding a measuring tape loosly around the fullest part of your breasts.
STEP 3: Subtract your band size of your over bust measurement. The difference determines your cup size.
- 0 inches = AA
- 1 inch = A
- 2 inches = B
- 3 inches = C
- 4 inches = D
- 5 inches = DD
- etc.
EXAMPLE:
- under bust = 33 inches + 5 inch -> 38 band size
- over bust = 40 inches
- 40 minus 38 = 2 inches -> B
- US bra size = 38 B
I was tagged by Grey Goat, and must now share with you seven random facts about myself, as well as posting the rules of the game:
- Link to your tagger and post these rules.

My random facts are:
- As a child I watched Jaws too many times. I'm still affraid to swim in open waters...
- I hate not being able to speak a certain language when I go abroad. I can understand most of German conversations, but I can never participate because I don't really speak it myself. I always feel so stupid laughing and nodding when people speak, but I act like a mute :) So now I'm following a German language class.
- I quit smoking 7 years ago, but still crave for a cigarette from time to time. Once a smoker, always a smoker...
- It's strange, as a women, having difficulties spending money on clothes. But since I started making clothes for myself, I really can't spend any money on other clothes (except for jeans). When I see something I like in a store, I always feel like I can make it myself, better, more orginal, and cheaper. :)
- I have 18 pairs of jeans. My husband has 4.
- This time of the year we see a lot of squirrels running through our backyard. I love it! They're so cute.
- I have a tattoo (13x13cm) on my back: angel wings. It was a gift to myself for my 30th birthday.
